The sight of Fijian titans Nemani Nadolo and Taqele Naiyaravoro colliding is expected to be a thriller at ANZ Stadium in Sydney tonight.
Worrying about his opposition wing's physical dimensions is usually a foreign concept for Crusaders left wing Nadolo, with few Super Rugby's outside backs able to match his impressive height and weight.
While Waratahs right wing Naiyaravoro can confidently stand in Nadolo's shadow and almost feel the sunlight warm his bones.
Now the scene is set for what could be a spectacular clash of the giants in Sydney.
Fiji‑born Naiyaravoro switched from NRL club West Tigers to the Waratahs mid‑way through last year, but never played in their grand final victory over the Crusaders because coach Michael Cheika did not unload him off the substitutes bench.
Nadolo, who hails from Sigatoka, says he and Naiyaravoro are friends, have been in regular contact this season and plan to drain a bowl of kava after the match.
The first priority, however, is to compete the business on the paddock.
The Waratahs will host the Crusaders at 9.40 tonight.
In other match, the Blues will host the Hurricanes at 7.35pm while the Force will clash on the Highlanders at 11.45pm.
Meanwhile looking at the results from last night, the Chiefs beat the Bulls 34-20 while the Sharks defeated the Reds 21-14.
