Nadi retain Fiji FACT title

Nadi has retained the Vodafone Fiji FACT title after beating Suva 1-nil this afternoon.

Amani Makoe scored the lone goal in the first half of the extra time period after both teams were locked nil all in the first and second half.

Suva threw everything at Nadi but could not penetrate their defence as Nadi held on to defend their title.

The win also sees Nadi take home the $15,000 prize money.

Meanwhile Labasa finished on 3rd spot after they beat Ba three nil in the 3rd and 4th place playoff.

The goals came from Christopher Wasasala, Ashnil Raju and Joseph Mishra.

Nadi's Ben Amino won the best player of the tournament while Suva team captain Ravinesh Karan Singh took out the golden boot award (the highest goal scorer of the tournament).
