Nadi kicks off BOG campaign on a high

Nadi kicked‑off their Inkk Mobile BOG on a high after beating Rakiraki 3‑0 in the first pool match at Subrail Park.

Elvin Prasad opened the scoring in the 36th minute of the first half through a powerful drive from inside the Rakiraki penalty box.

Nadi led 1‑0 till the breather.

Nadi came back strongly in the second half and scored two quick goals in the 11th minute and 13th minute through Ratu Josefata Dugucagi and Rusiate Matarerega.

Assistant national coach Yogendra Dutt, who is assisting the Nadi soccer team, says it’s good for Nadi team to score three goals.

Lautoka soccer team is currently leading Dreketi 1-o in the second match with a Samuela Drdudru goal.

Lautoka player Osea Vakatalesau and Ashnil Raju of Dreketi are yellow carded for foul.
