The Nadi soccer team is the first team to qualify for the semifinals of the Courts IDC.

Nadi has six points after playing two matches and currently leads Group B.

Suva has also made a great comeback by beating Rewa by 2‑1 with goals from Ravinesh Karan Singh and Bruce Hughes and this means Rewa has gone out of the tournament.

Hughes says all games are important.

Suva now needs a draw against Tavua today to qualify for the semis while Tavua needs to beat Suva for a semifinal spot.

Group A is very much wide open as Labasa leads with 6 points after the Babasiga Lions beat defending champion, Lautoka by 1‑0 through a Edwin Shayam spectacular drive in the second half.

Lautoka needs to score 3 clear goals against Nasinu to qualify for the semis while Ba needs a two clear goal victory over Labasa to qualify for the semis.

Nasinu also remains in contention to qualify but with slim chances where they have to beat Lautoka with a good goal margin and hope that Labasa beats Ba.

Labasa just needs a draw against Ba to qualify for semis.

In yesterday’s matches, Nadi thumped Tavua 5‑1, Ba thrashed Nasinu 4‑0, Labasa beat Lautoka 1‑0 while Suva edged Rewa 2‑1.

Today, Lautoka will play Nasinu at 11am, Suva plays Tavua at 1pm, Nadi will play Rewa at 3pm while Labasa will take on Ba at 5pm.

You can catch the live commentaries of Lautoka vs Nasinu, Suva vs Tavua and Ba vs Labasa matches on Radio Sargam.
