Nadi extends VPL lead after thrashing Dreketi

Nadi has extended its lead in the Vodafone Premier League after earning 6 points in the Northern division over the weekend.

Nadi now has 10 points in VPL and that has sent a strong message across to other teams.

This is after Nadi defeated hosts Dreketi 6-1 at Subrail Park today while Nadi defeated Labasa 2-1 yesterday.

Ratu Josefa Dugucagi, Andrew Naicker, Ame Votoniu and William Valentine scored for Nadi while Inia Vetaikula scored the only goal for Dreketi.

In another VPL match, Lautoka defeated Rewa 2-0.

Rewa’s Amani Makoe was shown a red card in the second half.

Lautoka’s first goal came after Rewa’s Vuniuci Tikomaimereke scored an own goal while Zibraz Sahib scored the second goal.
