Rotuma still lead the Fiji Games medal tally with 9 gold, 4 silver and 7 bronze.
Defending champions, Suva are in second place with 6 gold, 8 silver and 3 bronze while Nadi is in third place with 5 gold, 6 silver and 3 bronze.
Events that are currently underway include, Archery, Athletics, Para Athletics, Badminton, Basketball, Beach and Indoor Volleyball, Billiards and Snooker, Boxing, Golf, Powerlifting, Yachting, Swimming, Taekwondo and weightlifting.
Three swimming records have been broken by Nadi after day one of competition at the Fiji Games.
Taichi Vakasama competing for Nadi has set a new record of 4 minutes and 38.91seconds in the Men’s 400 metres Individual Medley.
Vakasama held the old record of 4 minutes and 47.13 seconds set in 2016.
Vakasama also broke the record in the Men’s 50 metres Breastroke with a time of 29.10 seconds the old record of 29.25 seconds was held by Meli Malani in 2016.
Netani Ross also competing for Nadi broke the Men’s 100 metres Backstroke with a time of 1minute and 00.01 seconds his old record of 1 minute and 00.73 seconds was set in 2018.
