Parramatta Eels winger Semi Radradra believes being married is the biggest contributor to his recent outstanding performance in the NRL competition.
Radradra is aiming to win his first NRL Premiership with the Eels before leaving the club for French rugby giant Toulon later this year.
Just as Jarryd Hayne inspired the Eels’ famous September charge in 2009, Radradra is in the kind of attacking mood that will no doubt inspire his blue and gold army.
Radradra, who will take up a FJD$1.4million a year French rugby deal as soon as Parramatta bomb out of the NRL title race, has taken his game to the next level since being hitched last month, as noticed by his teammates.
Fullback Will Smith described Radradra as a ‘freak’ while another Eel, Brad Takai-rangi, who gets one of the best views in rugby league playing inside Radradra at left centre, said: “He’s been awesome.”
Takairangi adds “’Happy wife, happy life’.
The Eels will take on the Cowboys at 9.40pm Saturday while the Broncos will take on the Panthers at 9.55pm.
