A Cape Town woman has alleged that All Blacks and Crusaders first five‑eighth Richie Mo'unga spat beer at her and her friends in a bar in the South African city earlier this month.
The claim follows accusations yesterday that three Crusaders players made homophobic slurs at a McDonald's outlet in Cape Town last weekend, with coach Scott Robertson revealing All Black George Bridge was involved.
The unnamed woman reached out to Mo'unga on social media after realising the player's identity the following day.
A screenshot of a message exchange on Instagram suggests Mo'unga replied and apologised to the woman, saying he should have gone home long before this happened.
The Crusaders will play the Blues at 7.35pm Saturday in the Super Rugby.
