9‑year‑old, Miley King of Mako Swimming Club in Nadi is part of the Fiji National School Swimming team that will be participating in the 2017 Pacific School Games that will be held in Adelaide, Australia.

King had earlier won five Gold Medals at the Short Course Age Group National Championship that was held at the Damodar City Aquatic Center.

She also broke the 200 meters breast‑stroke national record in the Under 10 grade with a new time of 3 minutes 24 seconds while the old record stands at 3 minutes 26 seconds that was set by Selina Ross from the same club back in 2014.

King says that she has been training hard, six days a week and will not put her effort to waste.
