Lionel Messi will miss El Clasico after being ruled out for three weeks with a fractured arm as Barcelona beat Sevilla 4‑2 to go top of La Liga.

The Argentine was left in agony after landing heavily on his right arm after a collision.

Just moments earlier the Barcelona captain had scored a sublime goal to put Barcelona 2‑0 up.

Messi had also set up Philippe Coutinho for the opener on two minutes.

In another match, Real Madrid lost to Levante 2-1.

Meanwhile, Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho was involved in a furious touchline bust‑up after United and Chelsea drew 2-all in the English Premier League last night.

This happened after Chelsea’s, Ross Barkley's 96th‑minute equaliser.

Mourinho bowed his head in disappointment as Barkley scored in the dying seconds after a goalmouth scramble, but then reacted angrily as Chelsea technical assistant Marco Ianni celebrated in front of him before then pumping his fists in Mourinho's direction again.

The Portuguese jumped from his seat and was then held back by a mixture of stewards and Manchester United staff as he attempted to get down the tunnel at Ianni.

In other EPL matches, Manchester City hammered Burnley 5-0, Brighton edged Newcastle 1-0, Tottenham beat West Ham 1-0 and Liverpool beat Huddersfield 1-0.

Manchester City leads the EPL points table with 23 points.
