Melbourne Storm second‑rower Kevin Proctor says his fellow forwards have to stand up against the Canterbury Bulldogs tonight.

The Bulldogs have not lost to the Storm since 2013 during regular season play and still boast arguably the strongest and most diverse forward pack in the NRL.

But the Storm believes their pack has the ability to get the better of the Bulldogs at AAMI Park.

Proctor said their forwards really have to step up this week and they all look forward to the challenge.

Proctor has started the season well and is up among the Storm's leaders in tackles in their 4‑1 start to the season.

The Storm has worked closely on their attacking play after missing out on too many scoring opportunities in recent games.

The Storm will play the Bulldogs at 9 tonight.
