Melbourne Rebels flanker Lopeti Timani has been suspended for four weeks by the Sanzaar judiciary for kicking Rory Arnold in his side's Super Rugby win over the Brumbies.
Flanker Timani was given a yellow card by Kiwi referee Glen Jackson for the incident in the first half of the 19‑17 win at AAMI Park in Melbourne on Saturday.
The Foul Play Review Committee accepted his guilty plea, after the matter was subsequently ruled to be a sending off offence.
Timani has been suspended from all forms of the game for four weeks, up to and including Saturday 13 May 2017.
This week, the Hurricanes meet the Brumbies at 7.35pm Friday, the Lions meet the Jaguares at 6am Saturday and the Crusaders clash with the Stormers at 7.35pm Saturday.
