Minister for Youth and Sports, Parveen Bala says he has been informed by his Permanent Secretary that some meetings have been organized so that talks can take place in regards to getting champion Weightlifter, Eileen Cikamatana to represent Fiji again.
When asked by Fijivillage if any talks have taken place, Bala says at this point in time there has been no talks.
Cikamatana who won gold for Fiji in the Commonwealth Games last year, decided not to represent Fiji after a dispute with Weightlifting Fiji.
In May, she took part in the Interstate Tournament between ACT and NSW where she smashed all Australian Junior and Senior records.
Cikamatana is now living in Sydney and has received permanent residency.
