Fiji Airways Flying Fijians Coach John McKee will meet with World Rugby representatives tomorrow to discuss issues regarding the late release of players in Europe from their respective clubs ahead of the 2019 World Cup.
McKee confirmed this to Fijivillage after a publication was made by Premiership Rugby Limited that they will stop players from joining up with their national team squads until mid August.
This makes it just 35 days of team bonding before the World Cup starts in September.
McKee says that they are aware of the issue at hand and he will provide substantial comments after the meeting.
Fiji has most of its players playing in Europe and the 35 days of camping will not be enough to put together the team.
When asked, McKee says he will reveal other topics which will be discussed tomorrow after the meeting.
Fiji is pooled with Australia, Wales, Georgia and Uruguay in the 2019 Rugby World Cup.
