With less than 3 hours to go before their first game in the Pacific Nations Cup against Samoa, Fiji Airways Flying Fijians coach, John McKee is pleased with the commitment to training the players have put into their preparations for this series opener.

With the likes of the European Player of the Year Leone Nakarawa leading the forwards and Aviva Premiership Player of the Year Vereniki Goneva spearheading the backs, the Fijians will be looking to make a flying start to the series.

McKee says that the four players that will make their debut have proved themselves.

The debutants are Sevenaia Galala, Ratu Veremalua Vugakoto, Alivereti Veitokani and Eroni Mawi.

The Flying Fijians will take on Samoa at 3.30pm today at the ANZ Stadium and you can catch the live commentary on our sister station Viti FM.
