An underwater treadmill.
That’s the latest training equipment which Conor McGregor is using to prepare for his professional boxing debut against Floyd Mayweather.
Photos posted social also showed the UFC star training in a Hydroworx pool at the University of Utah which allows him athletes to get a high‑intensity workout and maintain cardiovascular endurance in a low‑impact environment.
The underwater treadmill gives McGregor the ability to move in all directions just as he would in a competitive situation, but without the significant joint impact that he would experience performing similar movements on land.
Mayweather will face McGregor on the 27th of this month.
