Matulino to join Wests Tigers next season

Ben Matulino has informed the NZ Warriors that he has turned down their offer for a new contract and will join Wests Tigers next season.

The 28‑year‑old prop made his 197th NRL appearance in his first outing of the season in the Warriors' 20‑14 loss to the Storm on Tuesday night.

He has agreed to team up with Ivan Cleary again on a contract believed to be close to 700,000 Australian dollars a season.

The Warriors will take on the Roosters at 5pm Sunday while the Wests Tigers will play the Cronulla Sharks at 8.30pm Saturday.
