Ten pools of four teams have been confirmed for the Fiji Women’s Crisis Centre Martintar 7s Tournament this weekend in Nadi.
Defending champions Wardens Gold lead Pool A with Vuda, Nadi Police Youth and Malolo Hewa.
Big teams such as Tabadamu, Police, Westfield Saunaka, First Light Taveuni, Fiji Bitter Nawaka, Yasawa and McDonalds Saunaka are the other top teams in their pools.
Four women’s teams from the West will also take part in the two day tournament.
Meanwhile Livai Ikanikoda will be making his returning to the Police 7s team.
Police manager Tomasi Seviua says they do not have any confirmation if Banuve Tabakaucoro will be playing with them.
Some experienced players that will be playing for Police include Eroni Sau, Avete Naikolo, Manu Lagai and Esala Tuibua.
Police lost to Wardens Gold 17-19 in the final last year.
The Martintar 7s kick off at 9am Friday where defending champion Wardens Gold will take on Vuda.
The tournament will end on Saturday at Prince Charles Park in Nadi.
