The Queensland Maroons crushed the New South Wales Blues 22‑6 last night to win the State of Origin.
The Maroons have now clinched their 13th Origin decider ‑ and seventh straight.
It also marks the first time since 1987 the Maroons have clinched a series with two games in Queensland after losing the opener.
In just his second Origin, wing Valentine Holmes became the fifth Queensland player to score a record equalling hat‑trick.
Debutant Cameron Munster was outstanding, stepping into the big shoes left behind by Johnathan Thurston at No 6.
The Man of the Match was Maroons captain Cameron Smith.
Queensland winger Dane Gagai received the Wally Lewis Medal as player of the series.
