After 2 weekends of cancellations, the Southern Zone secondary school competition, today was game day at the Suva Grammar Secondary School grounds.
Favorites, Marist Brothers High School U18 defeated Suva Grammar 17-5, while Sacred Heart College defeated Ratu Sukuna Memorial 8-3 and Nasinu Secondary beat John Wesley College 11-3.
In the results of the Under 14 Grade, Nasinu Secondary School and RSMS won their games by default.
In the Under 15 grade, Nasinu Secondary School thumped RSMS 31-5, John Wesley College Was defeated by Suva Grammar 37-6 and Dudley High School edged LDS College 15-10.
Under 16 saw RSMS thrash Nasinu Secondary 20-0, Lomaivuna Secondary School upset Assemblies of God High School 19-7, while Suva Grammar defeated Marist Brothers 12-6
John Wesley College gave Dudley a thrashing in the Under 17 grade 32-0, Nasinu Secondary beat RSMS 16-7 while Marist beat Suva Grammar 20-16.
In the Under 19 John Wesley College defeated William Cross College 38-0 while Monfort Boys Town lost to Nasinu Secondary School 10-3
Round Four of the Southern Zone Secondary School Competition will be held next week at the Suva Grammar School grounds.
