With the second elimination round of the Fiji Bitter Marist 7's underway at the ANZ stadium the teams that have booked their spot in the quarterfinals are the defending champion Wardens Gold, Ratu Filise One, Hideaway Hurricanes, Tokatoka Westfield Babas, Police National, Red Rock, Tabadamu Blues and Wardens Green.
The Tokatoka Westfield Babas thrashed Nawaka 36-0 in their match after a tremendous display of natural Fijian rugby.
Former Vodafone Fiji 7's rep Pio Tuwai was outstanding by setting up two tries while Waisea Nacuqu and Vatemo Ravouvou continued with their fine performance.
In another elimination match Hideaway Hurricanes defeated Yasawa Stingers 31-0 after Vodafone Fiji 7's playmaker Eminoni Nasilasila scored two tries and set up three for his team mates.
Looking at other results, defending champion Wardens Gold defeated PWD Bure 19-0, Coast Ratu Filise beat First Landing 14-12 while Police National escape a narrow victory to First Light Taveuni 7-5.
Meanwhile, Jone Tanoa of the Tokatoka Westfiled Babas is the leading try scorer who has scored 8 tries so far.
The first quarterfinal match is between Warden Gold and Ratu Filise One at 1.45pm, Hideaway Hurricanes will take on Westfield Babas in the second quarterfinal while third quarter final match will see National Police take on Red Rock and Tabedamu Blue will face Wardens Green after Wardens Green defeated Marist Red 7-5.
