Manchester City are on the brink of winning the English Premier League as they bounced back from their Champions League exit with 3-1 victory against Tottenham.
Pep Guardiola's side need just three points to be crowned champions, but they will win the title if second‑placed Manchester United lose to West Brom tomorrow or to Bournemouth on Thursday.
Otherwise, a Manchester City victory in their next game against Swansea next Sunday will be enough.
In other English Premier League matches this morning, Chelsea defeated Southampton 3-2, Burnley beat Leicester City 2-1, Crystal Palace beat Brighton 3-2, Huddersfield beat Watford 1-0, Swansea and Everton played out a nil-all draw, and Liverpool defeated Bournemouth 3-0.
