Three Crusaders with Fiji links, Jone Macilai, Manasa Mataele and Setareki Tamanivalu are among the Crusaders travelling squad to Fiji ahead of their clash against the Chiefs this Friday.
Their dream of playing high level rugby in front of their friends and families is slowly becoming a reality with just days left for the much anticipated match against the Chiefs.
It will also be special for Manasa Mataele and his uncle Setareki Tamanivalu to play in front of their family if they are picked in the team.
Mataele last ran on the tracks at the ANZ Stadium in the 2014 Coca-Cola Games when he was part of the gold medal winning Marist Brothers High School 4x100 metres Intermediate Boys team.
Jone Macilai who was out for most part of the season has also been called in to be part of the unbeaten Crusaders squad.
Some of the All Blacks in the Crusaders team who are coming today include Matt Todd, Israel Dagg, Wyatt Crockett, Ryan Crotty, Sam Whitelock, Owen Franks and Joe Moody.
Both teams are set to arrive at Nausori Airport at 3.45 this afternoon.
The Chiefs will then make their way to Novotel Hotel in Lami while the Crusaders head to Holiday Inn.
They will have separate traditional welcome ceremonies at the hotels this evening.
The Crusaders will take on the Chiefs at 7.35pm Friday at the ANZ Stadium in Suva.
