MBHS and SVC retain schools swimming titles

Marist Brothers High School has secured their eighth consecutive National Schools Swimming Championship title.

They retained their title with 27 gold, 20 silver and 14 bronze.

Swami Vivekananda College finished second with 24 gold, 7 silver and 7 bronze while International School Suva finished third with 9 gold, 11 silver and 8 bronze.

In the girls womens division, Swami Vivekananda College retained their title with 30 gold, 7 silver and 13 bronze while International School Suva finished second with 12 gold, 12 silver and 15 bronze.

Jai Narayan College finished third with 11 gold, 9 silver and 2 bronze.

In the primary schools division, Mount Saint Mary’s won both the girls and boys divisions.

They secured the boys division with 20 gold, 12 silver and 7 bronze and won the girls title with 14 Gold, 17 Silver and 17 bronze.

Close to 50% of the swimmers participating in the Oceania Swimming Championship next month are from this National School Swim meet.
