MBHS, Nasinu Secondary, SGS and John Wesley qualify for Southern Zone semifinals

Marist Brothers High School, Nasinu Secondary School, Suva Grammar School and John Wesley College are the Under 18 teams that have qualified for the semifinals of the Southern Zone Secondary School competition.

Marist beat Saint Bedes College 38-10, Nasinu thrashed Monfort Boys Town 48-0, Suva Grammar School beat Ratu Sukuna Memorial School 29-10 while John Wesley College defeated Latter Day Saints 15-7.

In other results, the Under 17 competition saw Marist beat Sacred Heart College 19-5, Suva Grammar School beat Gospel High School 36-9, Nasinu Secondary School thrashed RSMS 25-0 while John Wesley College beat Dudley 35-6.

In the Under 16, Nasinu Secondary School beat Ratu Latianara College in Serua 20-3, RSMS defeated Assemblies of God Secondary School 27-12 and Suva Grammar School beat Navatu Secondary School from the North 28-12.

In the Under 15, Suva Grammar School won by default against Lami High School, Marist Brothers High School beat Sacred Heart College 35-5 and Nasinu Secondary School outclassed Dudley 19-5.

Meanwhile, the Under 14 teams will go straight to the semifinals with Suva Grammar School taking on Nasinu Secondary School while Marist Brothers High School will face RSMS.

Next week the Eastern and Western Zone are also expected to have their semifinals.
