Fiji Airways Flying Fijians halfback, Frank Lomani is likely to earn himself a starting spot against Tonga in the June Test match this Saturday after his brilliant performance against Georgia last week.
Lomani increased the tempo for the Flying Fijians when he came in the second half with quick recycling of the ball which caught the Lelos off guard when they were still trying to form their defensive line.
His game awareness was felt in the second half as he scored his first try on his second touch of the ball before finding a gap out wide to score his second try from the help of Timoci Nagusa.
Lomani has been part of the Melbourne Rebels setup after signing a contract this year.
With Wallabies halfback Will Genia injured from their second test against Ireland last week, Lomani will now have a high chance in making his Super Rugby debut and having more game time with the Rebels.
The Flying Fijians will host the Ikale Tahi Tonga at 3pm Saturday at Churchill Park, Lautoka and you can catch the live commentary on our sister station Viti FM.
