The inclusion of several prominent 15's players in the South African and New Zealand Sevens teams is not a concern for Vodafone Fiji Sevens Coach, Ben Ryan.
Ryan has made it clear that he would not focus too much on bringing in stars from the 15s code as we already have quality local players.
New Zealand and South Africa have named several code‑hoppers in their teams.
South Africa has named Newly signed Kings wing and scrum half Francois Hougaard and the Stormers inside centre Juan Leon de Jongh in their team for the Dubai Sevens.
New Zealand has named Chiefs halfback Augustine Pulu in their 14 men squad.
Apart from this, All Blacks players Sonny Bill Williams and Liam Messam will also join the New Zealand Sevens team later in the series.
Wallabies wing, Henry Speight will also make his debut for Australia this Friday.
Fiji will meet Canada in their first pool match at 6pm this Friday.
They will then take on Japan at 9pm Friday before facing Argentina at 3.28am Saturday.
The Cup quarter finals will start at 8pm Saturday, Cup semis will start at 1.41am Sunday while the Cup final will be at 4.48am Sunday.
South Africa is the defending champion of the Dubai 7s.
Fiji last won the Dubai Sevens in the 2013‑2014 Sevens World Series.
