Liverpool beat West Ham 4‑1 to move up to second, five points clear of fifth‑placed Tottenham, who play on Tuesday.
West Brom lost 2‑1 to Huddersfield, leaving them with just one win from 14 games under Alan Pardew(Parjiu).
Swansea are back in the relegation zone after they lost to Brighton 1-4.
The Swans were unbeaten in their previous five games under Carlos Carval-hal. They are 18th on goal difference, while West Brom are seven points adrift of safety.
Watford are six points away from the bottom three after Troy Deeney's (Denee’s)goal gave them a home win over Everton 1-0.
Meanwhile, Leicester City drew with Stoke City 1-all. Stoke City remain in the relegation zone in 19th place.
Southampton moved out of the bottom three following a 1‑1 draw against Burnley, who are winless so far in 2018.
Finally, Bournemouth came to a draw with New Castle 2-all.
Looking at the La Liga matches this morning Real Madrid beat Alaves 4-0, Celta Vigo beat Eibar 2-0, Leganes and Las Palmas drew nil-all while Barcelona beat Girona 6-1.
