All Blacks coach Steve Hansen says he is confident he knows just how Warren Gatland will want the Lions to play in the three‑test series.
As the Lions are en route to New Zealand, Hansen has told the Times in the UK he believes they will be predictable in how they play and does not feel their coach Warren Gatland is going to have an epiphany.
Hansen says they have got a thing they call ABCs of rugby ‑ Assume some things, Believe nothing until we Confirm them.
He says they assume Warren Gatland's not going to have an epiphany and change the way he plays but they are only assuming that, they are not believing it until they see them play and, with a tour, you do get to see the opposition play a bit, so they will be able to confirm one or two things prior to that first test.
Meanwhile in the Super Rugby this weekend the Blues will play the Reds at 7.35pm Friday in Samoa, the unbeaten Crusaders will play Highlanders at 2.35pm Saturday while defending champions Hurricanes will play the Force at 11.55pm Saturday.
