Jone Vesikula was the hero for the Blues as he scored the winner late into the second half.

In another match, Ba beat Dreketi 3-0 and are in a good place to finish second and qualify for the OFC Champions League.

Ba has 25 points and will need to beat Lautoka next weekend to confirm their spot.

Labasa also has a chance to finish second in the VPL if they win their two remaining matches and Ba drops points against Lautoka.

Labasa will play Ba in one of their two remaining matches.
