It’s do or die for Lautoka as they are now in a must win situation to secure a quarter‑final spot in the OFC Champions League.

Lautoka lost to Henderson Eels FC of Solomon Islands 6‑5 in their second group match of the OFC Champions League at Churchill Park yesterday afternoon.

The Blues were down 4‑1 in the first half and sloppy defence saw them conceding easy goals.

However, great team work and patience saw Lautoka making their way back in the game.

Sameula Drudru, Kolinio Sivoki, Bong Kalo and Osea Vakatalesau scored a goal each for Lautoka.

Lautoka was leading 5‑4 in the second half and conceded two late goals.

Lautoka will now have to beat AS Central Sport of Tahiti with a good goal margin this Saturday to secure a spot in the quarters.

The match will start at 4pm this Saturday at Churchill Park and you can catch the live commentary on our sister station, Radio Sargam.

Meanwhile, Lautoka’s group opponents, AS Central Sport thrashed FC Morobe Wawens 7‑0 yesterday.
