The Nadi Soccer Team managed to hold hosts Rewa 1 all in a lackluster affair in the last match of Day one of the 2016 Inkk Mobile BOG at Ratu Cakobau Park last night.

Misaele Draunibaka scored for the Delta Tigers in the 37th minute while Anish Khem equalized in the 27th minute of the second half.

Meanwhile, Lautoka soccer team came out firing from the first whistle to beat Labasa 4‑2.

The Blues opened the account in the 31st minute through Valerio Nawatu.

Mohammed Sazil scored two goals while veteran Peni Finau scored the last goal for the Blues.

The northerners applied tremendous pressure after that goal but then their striker Christoper Wasasala was red carded in the 43rd minute.

Leone Damudamu and Gabriel Matanasiga scored a goal each for the Labasa side.

In earlier matches, Dreketi surprised all as they held star‑stud Suva side 4‑4 in the first match of the day while Ba beat Nadroga 1‑0 with a Maveliko Nakama goal.

Looking at the points table, Lautoka and Ba head Group B with 3 points each but Lautoka has a better goal average. Other two teams in Group B Labasa and Nadroga has no point.

Group A which is made up of Dreketi, Suva, Nadi and Rewa are wide open with all teams having a point each.

Today’s matches will kick‑off at 1pm where Nadi take on Dreketi, Labasa face Nadroga at 3:00pm, Ba clash with Lautoka at 5pm while Suva face Rewa in the last game of the day.
