The Fiji Football Association is intending to hold the Champion versus Champion series between Lautoka and Labasa in late October this year.
The CVC series always used to be played in January or February, however the Fiji FA now wants to hold the series just a few weeks after the Courts IDC.
A decision on this will be taken in Fiji FA’s Board meeting this Saturday.
Fiji FA’s CEO Mohammed Yusuf says this is being done to ensure the Vodafone Premier League can start in the second week of January next year and there are no unnecessary postponements.
Yusuf adds they also want to finish the first round of Vodafone Premier League matches before the start of the OFC Champions League in March next year.
Meanwhile, Ba will host Lautoka at 7pm this Friday in the VPL.
