Lautoka Football Association President Abdul Kadar has asked fans to come out in numbers and support their team in the OFC Champions League match against Tahiti’s AS Central Sport today.
He says this is soccer and anything can happen and the team will try its best to be qualified into the next round.
Kadar says he cannot reveal at this stage how the team will tackle AS Central Sport.
Lautoka will have to hope that Henderson Eels FC does not score a lot of goals against Morobe Wawens in their next group match.
Should Henderson Eels FC score 5 goals against Morobe Wawens, Lautoka will have to defeat Tahiti’s AS Central Sport by 2 clear goals to qualify to the quarters.
AS Central Sports has six points while Lautoka and Henderson Eels FC have three points each. Morobe Wawens does not have any point.
Lautoka will face AS Central Sport at 4pm today at Churchill Park and you can catch the live commentary on our sister station Radio Sargam.
