Brumbies coach Stephen Larkham has knocked back an approach to join Michael Cheika's Wallabies coaching set up.
Larkham says that he wants to concentrate on winning a Super Rugby title in Canberra.
Cheika who is expected to be announced as the new Wallabies coach had hoped to recruit Larkham as the attack coach and Western Force mentor Michael Foley for a forwards coaching position.
It is also understood that Michael Foley's involvement is still uncertain.
The Wallabies squad for the spring tour is yet to be announced while the Australian coaching set up is still unclear.
The Wallabies will leave for Europe on Friday and play their first game against the Barbarians before taking on Wales, France, Ireland and England.
