Labasa thrashes Suva

Labasa defeated Suva 3-0 in the Vodafone Premier League at Ratu Cakobau Park.

Ratu Anare scored just in the first minute of the match for the Babasiga Lions.

Akeimi Ralulu and Shamal Lal scored two more goals for Labasa in the second half.

Labasa now has nine points and is placed 6th on the Vodafone Premier League points table.

Ba is leading the table with 16 points.

Meanwhile, Labasa will play Rewa at 4pm tomorrow.

Much talked about striker, Setareki Hughes who earlier said to be joining the Rewa side is featuring for Suva this afternoon against Labasa in the Vodafone Premier League at the Ratu Cakobau Park.

It is believed that Hughes will remain with Suva in the new season.

Meanwhile, the Courts IDC will start next Wednesday at the ANZ Stadium and you can catch the live commentary of the Nadroga Lautoka, Ba Rewa and Suva Labasa matches on Radio Sargam on 103.4FM.
