Labasa scored 4 goals and kept Ba scoreless to make the BOG semifinals

Labasa will take on Suva in the first semifinal at 2pm while defending champions Rewa will face an unbeaten Lautoka side at 4pm in the second semifinal next Saturday in the 2016 Inkk Mobile BOG.

Fiji Football Association’s CEO Bob Kumar has confirmed that the semifinals and the final will be played at Ratu Cakobau Park.

The final will be played at 3pm next Sunday.

In today’s matches, Labasa thrashed Ba 4 nil in a thrilling game.

Gabriel Matanasiga scored the first goal for the Babasiga Lions in the 16th minute of game.

Ravinesh Karan Singh, Christopher Wasasala and Leone Damudamu scored the other three goals for the Labasa side.

Labasa Coach says Ravinesh Kumar thanked the god and the players who have been firing out against the Ba side.

Kumar says after going down to Lautoka, they had to win two matches to book a spot in semifinal.

The match between Suva and Nadi ended with a nil all draw.

Meanwhile, the Rewa soccer team bounced back from their defeat last night and gave a tremendous performance to book their spot in the semifinals.

Rewa thrashed Dreketi 8‑1 in their last pool match.

Savenaca Nakalevu and Epeli Saukuru scored three goals each for the Delta Tigers while Joseph Mishra and Simione Maikali scored one each.

Peni Sokia scored the lone goal for the Dreketi side.

Rewa striker Iosefo Verevou will miss the semifinal after he was given his second yellow card.

In another match, Lautoka beat Nadroga 2-1 today.
