Labasa defeated Lautoka 2‑nil in the Vodafone Premier League at Subrail Park.
Gabrieli Matanisiga scored twice for the Babasiga Lions in the second half.
Labasa now has 12 points and sits 5th on the points table.
Meanwhile, Lautoka coach Kamal Swamy was taken to Labasa Police Station during the match yesterday.
He was interviewed and released.
Swamy says he did not like the facial expression of the match official when the 2nd goal was scored.
In another match, the Dreketi soccer team defeated Nadroga 3‑2 at Subrail Park.
Thomas Steiner, Setareki Rokowasa and Josaia Seva scored for Dreketi.
Archie Underwood and Taniela Raubula scored for Nadroga.
Dreketi's Henry Dyer was also red carded in the match.
Dreketi now has seven points on the points table while Nadroga is yet to register a point.
There will be double header again today at Subrail Park.
Nadroga will face Labasa at 1pm while Dreketi will take on Lautoka at 3pm.
Ba will host Rewa at Govind Park at 3pm today.
