Labasa beats Nadroga, Suva holds Ba

The Labasa soccer team did not upset its fans as they defeated Nadroga 1-0 at Subrail Park in the Rewa Galaxy Premier League match.

Both teams were locked at nil-all till the breather.

The hosts applied tremendous pressure in the second half and managed to score the lone goal of the match through Apisalome Turuva.

The Babasiga Lions now lead the points table with 11 points.

In the other match played today, Suva managed to hold Ba nil-all at Govind Park.

Ba is third on the points table with seven points while Suva has six points.

The matches tomorrow will see Nadi take on Lautoka at home at 3pm while two bottom placed teams, Rewa and Tailevu Naitasiri will battle it out at Ratu Cakobau Park at 3pm.
