Action from the Nadroga vs Labasa match.

The Labasa soccer team bounced back from a huge loss yesterday to thrash Nadroga 7-0 in their second game of the Inkk Mobile BOG at Ratu Cakobau Park.

The northerners made sure to settle early after they lost to Lautoka 4-2 yesterday.

Ratu Anare opened the scoring for the Labasa side and Leone Damudamu made it 2-0.

Labasa maintained tremendous pressure into Nadroga territory resulting in Ravinesh Karan Singh scoring another 2 goals to make it 4-0.

Gabriel Matanasiga put Labasa up by 5-0 before Edwin Sahayam made it 6-0 before the breather.

Labasa came back strongly in the second half as Akuila Mataisuva headed the 7th goal from Edwin Sahayam corner kick.

After this match, Labasa leads pool B with 3 points with better goal average after 2 matches followed by Lautoka and Ba, both having 3 points each after playing one game each with Nadroga having no point at all after 2 matches.

In the first match of day 2, Dreketi held Nadi 1-1 when Vikranth Chandra scored for the northerners in the 43rd minute while Lekima Gonerau saved the day for Nadi when he equalised in the injury time.

After this match, Dreketi and Nadi have 2 points each after 2 games while Suva and Rewa have one point each from one match in Pool A.

The game between Ba and Lautoka is currently underway and both teams are locked at nil-all.
