The Labasa and Suva Soccer Associations are having negotiations regarding the transfer application of some prominent players.

Labasa’s three key players, Christopher Wasasala, Ratu Anare and Vilitati Kautoga have applied for their release to join Suva while Suva’s Napolioni Qasevakatini, Antonio Tuivuna and Ravinesh Karan Singh have decided to join Labasa.

Fiji Football Association’s CEO Mohammed Yusuf says these players are contracted with their current districts and both Labasa and Suva Soccer Associations have cited breach of contract by these players.

Labasa and Suva will face Ba and Lautoka respectively in the Vodafone Premier League this weekend and good amount of money is expected to exchange hands in the coming days for the transfer of these prominent players.

Meanwhile, Yusuf adds that Nadi’s William Valentine has withdrawn his application to join Ba.

Labasa will host Ba at 1.15pm this Saturday at Subrail Park and you can catch the live commentary of the match on our sister station, Radio Sargam.
