Former Queensland Reds winger Chris Kuridrani and Sydney Rams number eight Albert Tuisue could be playing for the Fiji Airways Drua this year in the National Rugby Championship.
After featuring for the Fiji Giants and Warriors in the Brisbane Global Tens and the Super Rugby pre-season match against the Reds yesterday, Drua coach Senirusi Seruvakula told Legend FM Sports that the duo could be included for the Drua team if they continue with their current form.
Kuridrani is the young brother of Flying Fijians winger Nemani Nadolo while Tuisue featured prominently for the Sydney Rams at last year’s NRC.
Meanwhile Seruvakula was happy with the local players’ performance against the Reds last night and believes they are on the right path ahead of the Pacific Rugby Challenge and the NRC this year.
The Fiji Warriors lost to the Reds 17-15 last night.
They will return to Fiji at 3 this afternoon with the Fiji Warriors Under 23 and five players over the age of 23 to go back into camp next Thursday to prepare for the World Rugby Pacific Challenge which will be held from March 9th to 17th at the ANZ Stadium.
The competition will include Junior Japan, Tonga A, Samoa A and Fiji Airways Fijian Warriors.
