Vodafone Fiji 7s lanky forward Mesulame Kunavula will not play at the London 7s this weekend due to injury.
Coach Gareth Baber confirms that Kunavula will need six weeks to fully recover from his knee injury.
Kunavula captained the national side against USA in the fifth place play-off lose and has impressed Baber with his leadership skills and discipline.
Baber says they will regroup this week and will address some of the errors from last weekend.
With Kunavula ruled out this week, Josua Kurinabuli could make his debut this weekend.
Baber is expected to name his final 12 on Friday.
