Roy Krishna will miss the Wellington Phoenix’s A-League game against Central Coast Mariners on Saturday after his red card in their last game against the Perth Glory.
The Fijian International who is Phoenix’s top goal scorer this season with 8 goals was red carded in the second half of the 2-1 loss to the Glory.
The A‑League's match review panel proposed the mandatory minimum penalty for the act deemed a serious act of foul play.
Krishna has been impressive with his all-round display throughout this season and has also established himself as one of the key players for Phoenix.
