Wellington Phoenix manager Mark Rudan is hailing the efforts of striker Roy Krishna, following his goal‑scoring heroics in last night's 3‑2 victory over Melbourne City.
TVNZ reports Krishna scored all three of the Phoenix's goals in last night's victory, including a 94th minute winner in his side's quest to host a home play‑off.
Krishna has also become the Phoenix's all‑time leading scorer in a single season, overtaking All Whites striker Jeremy Brockie's 16 strikes in the 2012/2013 season.
Krishna is now with 18 goals with one regular season match left to play.
