Star striker Roy Krishna has confirmed his exit from Wellington Phoenix after five and a half seasons, but his next destination remains unclear.
Krishna, the winner of both the Johnny Warren Medal and Golden Boot has been wanted by numerous A‑League clubs on the back of his career‑high 19‑goal haul.
Champions Sydney FC and Melbourne City were chasing hard for his signature during the latter stages of the A-league campaign.
There is also interest from Asia, with The Australian's chief football writer Ray Gatt tweeting that Krishna is off to South Korea's K‑League.

Krishna says after much thought and consideration and consultation with his family back in Fiji, he has decided to move on from the A‑League to secure a future outside of the A league.
He says they have negotiated a contract and are currently working out the finer details. Krishna says he will be announcing the club name when his are back from his belated honeymoon towards the end of this month.
Krishna joined the Phoenix midway through the 2013‑14 as an injury replacement for Paul Ifill, who he overtook as the club's all‑time leading scorer with 51 goals in 122 games.
