Korbin Sims hopes new inclusion of Fiji in Ron Massey Cup will open up opportunities for local players

Vodafone Fiji Bati captain, Korbin Sims is hoping that the inclusion of a Fiji team in the Ron Massey Cup from next year will open up a lot of opportunities for the local rugby league players.

Sims says he is looking forward to see how the team develops in the coming years.

He says it is not going to be perfect straight away adding with the right guidance and the right support base, the team will be good in years to come.

Rugby league legend, Petero Civoniceva announced on Friday that their bid to join the Ron Massey Cup from 2020 has been accepted.

Civoniceva says that they will be making further announcements later in the year in Fiji.
