Newcastle and Fiji Bati forward Korbin Sims is facing the prospect of missing the Pacific Test after he was cited by the NRL match review committee yesterday morning.
Sims was one of three players charged, with Cronulla forward Jayson Bukuya and New Zealand halfback Shaun Johnson also earning the ire of officials.
Sims was charged with a grade two careless high tackle and will be suspended for Saturday's Test match unless he successfully fights the charge at the NRL judiciary.
Cronulla forward Bukuya was cited for a grade one shoulder charge and is set to miss a week, unless he fights the charge at the NRL judiciary and loses, which would result in a two‑match ban.
The Vodafone Fiji Bati will meet the PNG Kumuls at 5.30pm Saturday.
