Vodafone Fiji 7s Captain Osea Kolinisau is looking forward to try and better their performance from Cape Town 7s and improve on the areas that they lacked in that tournament.
Kolinisau says that it has been a tough week for them as the new players have made them run for their money.
He adds that this one tournament he wants to rectify.
Kolinisau says he had to make some sacrifices in order to achieve his goal.
Fiji is in Pool B with Japan, Wales and Argentina in the Wellington tournament.
They will take on Japan at 12.36pm next Saturday.
Fiji will face Wales at 3.38pm and take on Argentina at 6.46pm next Saturday.
The Cup quarters will start at 1.02pm next Sunday, the Cup semis start at 5.27pm while the Cup final kicks off at 8.30pm.
Meanwhile, Rugby World Cup Sevens winner Tom Isaacs returns to the Wales Sevens squad for the Wellington Sydney legs of the HSBC Sevens World Series.
Isaacs helped Paul John's side beat New Zealand, Samoa and Argentina on the way to lifting the 2009 Rugby World Cup Sevens trophy in Dubai and last represented Wales Sevens in 2010.
The only other change to the squad since the Dubai and Cape Town tournaments in December is uncapped wing Lloyd Lewis who shone for Wales Under 20 last season
