Manchester City Midfielder Kevin de Bruyne will miss five to six weeks after injuring a ligament in his left knee in yesterday’s 2-0 victory victory over Fulham in a Carabao Cup match that has put City through to the Carabao Cup Quarters.
The 27‑year‑old had scans after limping off three minutes before the end of the match.
Kevin de Bruyne who has made three appearances for City this season, will not require surgery.
He previously injured a ligament in his right knee in August.
City Manager Pep Guardiola says the team is sad for him as nobody likes to be injured.
